JBL brings the sound and Gleyber Torres brings the skills. The two-time MLB All-Star and 2018 American League Rookie of the Year finalist is JBL’s newest global brand ambassador. Torres continues the legacy of JBL enlisting Yankees greats on Team JBL, and the two will work together to create amazing moments and incredible sound at Yankee Stadium.
“I am passionate about sports, music, fashion and gaming, and JBL is at the center of that as I explore each of them in my life,” said Torres. “Sound can make or break a moment, and JBL helps me take my game to the next level with its truly amazing sound. I always know it’s time to get in the zone when I hear the JBL speakers fired up at Yankee Stadium, and I can’t wait to work with them this year.”
The New York Yankees shortstop will amplify his game on and off the field using JBL products like never before. Combining his passions for sound and style, JBL created custom sport headphones. Fans will also get the opportunity to see Torres take his gaming skills to the next level by using the JBL Quantum gaming headsets.
“Torres is exactly the kind of athlete we love to have represent JBL. His various passions perfectly represent our dynamic brand and cater to our diverse consumers by intersecting sports, music, culture and gaming,” said Ralph Santana, Chief Marketing Officer of HARMAN. “We are thrilled to continue our historic partnership with the Yankees by adding Torres to our team.”
